Here’s one of the latest flipbooks. I tried my best to cram in the couple’s requested elements of: taking baths together, a volcano in South Korea, a hairy chest, wrestling uniforms featuring the flags of the UK and South Africa, 4 pets, a …kite, and a message at the end. I’m glad to see the final product all animated, but its the piecing together of these scattered elements that I’m sometimes happiest to figure out. A whole lot has to happen in 50 pages! Thanks for watching!

I was asked to make a flipbook for a fella who wanted use it to propose. It starts with a scene from their first date and transforms to the boyfriend’s most loved dining experience (and the girlfriend’s most hated)…Benihana. Proof that true love means sometimes going to Benihana even though you don’t want to…AT ALL.
I got the word from the adorable couple that She said yes! Woo-hoo to the power of love and flibooks! Order yours at: TheFlippist.com
This was a flipbook that a woman ordered as an anniversary/valentine’s gift to her fella. Their first kiss was under an expressway in New York (the BQE) where they now live a few blocks from. The idea was to tell the story of how it all began up until today. The customer did an amazing job helping me figure out the layout…she sent many photos including some very helpful google street view images. I had a hoot including all the little details like their outfits, the cat, the look of the house, the record player, and I even snuck their anniversary date “1-28” on the cab. Thanks for checking it out!
I’ve been working on this for a while and I’m glad to finally show it off! The Pee-wee Christmas special has been a big part of my holiday tradition, so it’s only fitting that he should have his own nativity scene. Painted by me..Ben Zurawski. Check out more photos of it and my other Pee-wee art here.
Gotta love this clip from WGN morning news. News inspiring art! Thanks Jeff Hoover!
